Bharat Papers Limited a part of BBF Group, and HANSOL EME, Korea, sister concern of Samsung Group, joined hands to come up with a world class paperboard manufacturing facility at Kathua(J&K).

BBF Group has already made its presence felt in the field of paperboard packaging with an enviable growth rate and customer base including some of the leading business houses of India as well as most of the Multi National Comapanies Operating India. Besides paperboard packaging, BBF group has also diversified into plastic injection and blow molding besides undertaking contractual manufacturing of various FMCG products.


HANSOL EME is a globally renowned company with some of the most advanced technological capabilities in the field of environment, engineering, energy and maintenance. Hansol’s Paper Plant business has played a substantial role in the growth and prosperity of paper industry in Korea. Hansol has already undertaken similar successful projects in China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Brazil and Vietnam.

The BPL plant is fast coming up in Kathua in an area of 55 acres and shall be fully operational by June 2008. With a proposed capacity of 220 TPD, it is capable of making high quality Test Liner and Coated Board.
